SOLUTION: The solid composition of the volatile corrosion inhibitor includes a not-self-decomposable ammonium salt as a component A, and a non-deliquescent salt of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal as a component B, and does not include a nitrous acid and a salt thereof.
