Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent composition for a silicone compound with satisfactory applicability of the silicone compound, the solvent composition being noncombustible and lowly toxic and extremely easy to handle. SOLUTION: There are provided a solvent for a silicone compound, which contains 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, or a solvent composition for a silicone compound, which includes a compound containing (A) 1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-methoxyethane, 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluorobutane, and 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoro-1-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)ethane.
