Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light emitting device capable of displaying images of high quality by inspecting and repairing a defective part of a light emitting element including a positive pole, a negative pole and an organic compound layer. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the light emitting device includes specifying the defective part by measuring, by an emission microscope, light emission generated from an electric current flowing in the defective part when applying a reverse bias voltage to the light emitting element with the defective part, and irradiating the defective part with laser to repair the defective part.
