INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the operation mode of each node of a cluster system without adopting any method such as the use of an interface with cluster middleware and network connection. SOLUTION: Resource management tools 550 and 560 acquire the computer resource usage (CPU use rate, disk bandwidth, network bandwidth) of guests OS 400 and 410, and compares respective computer resource usages with each other, and discriminates the classification (shared disk type, non-shared disk type, load balance type or the like) of a cluster system from the comparison pattern of each computer resource usage, and discriminates as which of an active system and a standby system (or master and slave) each guest OS is operating.
