PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by reducing a calculation volume of an image processing parameter, in an image formation device including an image processing parameter calculation means to calculate the image processing parameter in accordance with setting from an operation part, and an image processing parameter setting means to set the calculation result thereof to an image processing part. SOLUTION: An image processing parameter calculation part 203 performs image processing parameter calculation 101 in accordance with the setting 201 of an operation part, and an image processing parameter setting part 205 performs image processing parameter setting 102. Then, the difference management 202 of the setting 201 of the operation part is performed. When the setting is the same as that of a previous time, the image processing parameter calculation 101 and the image-quality parameter setting 102 are not performed, whereby speed is increased.
