The focus position detection means 4 includes: an illumination control means 41 for controlling the brightness of illumination, by controlling the lighting time of the strobe illumination device 21; a relative position obtaining part 42 for obtaining the position of the camera 22 at the center time of the lighting time; and a contrast detection part 43 for detecting the contrasts of the images imaged picked up by the camera 22.
