SOLUTION: There are provided an anti-protein S monoclonal antibody which recognizes Myxococcus xanthus-derived protein S, a measuring reagent containing the monoclonal antibody, a method of measuring protein S, a fragment thereof or a protein containing protein S or a fragment thereof in the molecule by using the monoclonal antibody, a method of purifying protein S, a fragment thereof or a protein containing protein S or a fragment thereof in the molecule, and a hybridoma which produces the monoclonal antibody.
