Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing state determination method which can determine whether or not a grinding stone have achieved a desired straight shape. SOLUTION: The number of cross-points between ultrasonic waves generated in dressing and a plurality of predetermined sample lines is acquired as differential properties in a T method in an MT system. In addition, among the cross-points, the sum of spacings between the cross-points where ultrasonic waves are present at a position above the position of the cross-point is acquired as integral properties in a T method in an MT system. Differential properties and integral properties in predetermined effective sample lines among the plurality of sample lines are standardized by predetermined unit space data. An estimated value of the straightness of the grinding stone achieved by dressing is calculated based on the standardized differential properties and integral properties. When the calculated estimated value satisfies a predetermined threshold value, a desired dressing state is determined to have been achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
