NETWORK CAMERA SYSTEM USING PORTABLE TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low-cost network camera system using portable terminals that prevents crime, ensures security, and watches a person, etc. SOLUTION: A main controller including a memory storing Internet image distribution setting information and a CPU for processing the setting information, a portable terminal interface for connecting the portable terminal for wireless distribution of image data to the main controller, and a power supply controller are stored in a compact housing convenient to carry. Moreover, a camera device to be connected to the main controller and a wireless LAN interface to be connected to the main controller are mounted on the housing. One or a plurality of external information terminals can therefore be connected to the Internet network through the wireless LAN interface, and settings of the main controller can be configured from the external information terminals through the wireless LAN interface.
