Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of noise (shading or the like) due to an input timing of an external trigger signal in an image when a trigger mode is used. SOLUTION: A timing generation circuit 4 of a solid-state imaging device 10 generates an exposure start pulse 23a and vertical transfer pulses 22a to 22c in synchronization with external trigger signals 4 and 21, and controls exposure of a photoelectric conversion element 1 and charge transfer. When vertical transfer pulses 220a to 220c are being output when inputting the external trigger signal 21, the vertical transfer pulses are continuously output without being reset and after a predetermined standby period X is passed, they are changed to vertical transfer pulses 221a to 221c generated in synchronization with the external trigger signal and then output.
