TRANSMITTER, TRANSMISSION METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter which efficiently using a buffer by preliminarily discarding a frame of which the discard schedule time card comes before the schedule time to transmit the frame comes. SOLUTION: A transmitter 10 is equipped with: a sequential buffer selection part 6 which adds an allowable delay time to a reception time of a frame to calculate the discard schedule time of the frame and, each time a frame is stored in a storage buffer 5 or is read out from the storage buffer 5, calculates schedule times to transmit respective frames stored in the storage buffer 5 on the basis of the reception time of the stored frame or the transmission time of the read frame and intervals of transmission times between consecutive frames; a transmission and discard control part 5e which, in the case where the discard schedule time to discard a frame comes before the schedule time schedule to transmit the frame comes, discards the frame from the buffer, before the next frame is stored in the buffer or is read from the buffer.
