Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a positive electrode active material having excellent electrical conductivity, and excellent filling and dispersing properties in resin, with preferable coating property onto a sheet. SOLUTION: This positive electrode active material contains a positive electrode active material particle comprising a polyanion-based compound and carbon and having an average particle diameter of 1-5 μm, and a positive electrode active material granule containing carbon composirted and having an average particle diameter of 5-50 μm, which is obtained by compositing a thermosetting phenol resin or a thermosetting epoxy resin with a positive electrode active material particle comprising a polyanion-based compound and carbon, and then subjecting the composite to a heat treatment in a reducing atmosphere.
