ELECTRIC STOVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric stove capable of improving safety by securely intercepting a power source even if an overturning switch is failed. SOLUTION: The electric stove is composed of a body case 3 composed of a heater 2, a front-face panel 6 mounted with a guard 5 for covering a front surface of the heater 2, a back-face panel 7 engaged with the front-face panel 6, and an operation part body 8 mounted to an upper part of the engaged front-face panel 6 and back-face panel 7, and a base 4 which supports the body case 3 and has a shape that at least the front-face side projects forward from the front-face panel 6. A temperature detection means 27 which detects an atmospheric temperature at a predetermined temperature or higher to intercept the power source at the time of instrument overturning is provided between the front-face panel 6 and the back-face panel 7 which acts as second safety device at the time of instrument overturning and can securely prevent the burning of a floor and ignition to combustibles.
