DECORATIVE RIDGE MEMBER AND STRUCTURE OF CORNER RIDGE SECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative ridge member used to construct a corner ridge section without causing any waterproof problem when body tiles each having a rise part for a back board are used. SOLUTION: This decorative ridge member A is disposed, starting at the eaves side front end to the ridge side rear end, on both sides of the corner ridge top part of the corner ridge section of a roof between the upper surfaces of the mutually facing ends of a pair of body tiles 1 which are disposed so that the cut side-ends face each other. A slit 4 in which a rise part 3 for returning water which projects from the upper surface of the ridge side rear end of the body tile 1 is stored is formed on both sides of the ridge side rear end of the body part 2 of the decorative ridge member A. The decorative ridge member A can be disposed on the side ends of the body tiles 1 while the rise parts 3 for returning water of the body tiles 1 are stored in the slit parts 4. Consequently, the decorative ridge member A can be placed on the body tiles 1 without being ridden over the rise part 3 and raised. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
