METHOD FOR PRODUCING AQUEOUS PIGMENT DISPERSION LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous pigment dispersion liquid of C.I. Pigment Yellow 74, in which the aqueous pigment dispersion liquid, where an aqueous pigment having extremely fine particle size is dispersed, can be obtained in high production efficiency so that an ink composition for inkjet recording, that is prepared by using the aqueous pigment dispersion liquid as a main component thereof, can allow an image to have excellent gloss and color development. SOLUTION: The method for producing the aqueous pigment dispersion liquid for inkjet recording comprises: a kneading step of kneading a mixture containing the pigment, a styrene-acrylic acid copolymer, a wetting agent and a basic compound to prepare a colored kneaded material of a solid state at normal temperature; and a mixing step of adding an aqueous medium to the colored kneaded material and agitating them. The aqueous pigment to be used is C.I. Pigment Yellow 74. At the kneading step, water of 15-50 mass% is added to the pigment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
