PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure that is easy to weld regardless of the type of plating. SOLUTION: A motor includes a body 1 of the motor and a housing 2 for storing the body of the motor. The housing includes a first member 4 having a first flange on the periphery of an opening and a second member 5 having a second flange corresponding to the first flange. By joining the first and second flanges together, the opening is sealed. Out of the inner surfaces and outer surfaces of the first and second members, at least the outer surfaces are coated with a plated layer. At least either one of the first and second flanges has an end face not coated with the plated layer on the periphery. A plurality of heat concentration parts are provided on the end face. In this motor, joining is performed by welding at least one of the plurality of heat concentration parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
