WET-TYPE ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC RECORDING PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet-type electrophotographic recording paper of coating type which, while being satisfactory in fixing properties and transfer properties of a wet-type toner, also possesses high glossiness, and to provide an image forming method that uses the wet-type electrophotographic recording paper. SOLUTION: The wet-type electrophotographic recording paper has at least one layer of coated layer, on at least one side surface of a sheet-like substrate, where a white paper glossiness of the outermost side coated layer surface of the coated layer is 45 to 85%, a measurement of the Parker Print-Surf is 1.2 μm or less and an ink absorption time measured, based on the oil absorption testing method (JAPAN TAPPI No.67), is 17 s or less.
