SHOCK ABSORBING MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb a shock of a pedestrian contacting a front pillar area from a front fender cover of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this shock absorbing material 1 for the vehicle, a horizontal part 10 installed in and fixed to the front fender cover 25, an erecting part 12 installed on and fixed to a front pillar 28 and a connecting part 11 of both of these, are continuously and integrally arranged, and a projecting height to the vehicle outside is formed gradually large toward the rear side from the front side of the horizontal part 10 and is formed maximum in the connecting part 11, and is also formed gradually small toward the upper side from a lower end part of the erecting part 12.
