Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for defining a certain group from among bi-directional objects. SOLUTION: An initiator event is applied synchronously to several objects in a form of a double power fault (90). Then a message containing a group identifier is sent, for example, by one of the objects which receive the initiator event (92). The object which receives the initiator event and receives this message stores the group identifier (94) and is subsequently considered to be apart of a group defined by the identifier. The moment of application of the initiator event can be used as a time reference for each object in order to secure a group definition.
