Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device for a fuel cell system in which power control device suppresses the overheat conditions of capacitors making up a converter included in the fuel cell system to protect the capacitors from heat damage. SOLUTION: The power control device 12 for the fuel cell system includes an FC converter 18, a battery converter 20 connected to an inverter 14 in parallel with the FC converter 18, and a control unit 21 which controls the operation of the FC converter 18 and the battery converter 20. The FC converter 18 has capacitors 22, 26, and 30 and temperature sensors 23, 27, and 31 which detect capacitor temperatures Tc1, Tc2, and Tc3. When any one of the capacitor temperatures Tc1, Tc2, and Tc3 rises to a threshold temperature Tth or higher, the control unit 21 executes control for lowering a boosting voltage target value or boosting ratio in boosting by the battery converter 20.
