Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the image quality of a fixed image by toner for infrared fixing. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the toner for infrared fixing having a colored resin particle 11 containing at least a colorant 13 and a resin coating layer 14 containing at least an infrared absorbent 16 which coats the surface of the colored resin particle 11 includes: an aqueous dispersion solution preparation step of preparing an aqueous dispersion solution containing colored resin particles 11, resin fine particles 15 and infrared-absorbing fine particles; and a filming step of forming the above resin coating layer 14 by heating the aqueous dispersion solution or adding a flocculant to the aqueous dispersion solution, whereby the resin fine particles 15 and the infrared absorbent fine particles are flocculated on the surfaces of the colored resin particles 11 and coat the surfaces.
