OUTDOOR UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress infiltration of water to electric components inside from the outside of a casing. SOLUTION: This outdoor unit has: a casing 40 having a side panel 44 and a top panel 43; a terminal block 60 contained inside the casing 40; a wiring opening section 46a formed near the terminal block 60; and a closing valve cover 50 covering the wiring opening section 46a. An upper end section 53 of the closing valve cover 50 is provided with: an outside wall 53a disposed outside of a rim section 43b of the top panel 43; an inside wall 53b disposed inside of the rim 43b of the top panel 43; and a recess 53c disposed between the outside wall 53a and the inside wall 53b. Above the wiring opening section 46a, the rim 43b of the top panel 43 is inserted into the recess 53c formed on the upper end section 53 of the closing valve cover 50, and an upper part 47 of the wiring opening section 46a of the side panel 44 is disposed inside of the inside wall 53b.
