Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic door opening/closing apparatus using a radio unit, which enables the hands-free opening of a door, which can reduce running cost, and which can prolong the life of a human detecting sensor. SOLUTION: A receiver 19 is provided near a sliding door 16 facing a passage 13. A doorway of the sliding door 16 is provided with first and second antennae 20 and 22 which are connected to the receiver 19. The first and second human detecting sensors 24 and 26 are provided in such a manner as to be positioned between the sliding door 16 and the first and second antennae 20 and 22, respectively. A signal including an identification code and transmitted from a facility user's transmitter 18 in the detection areas 21 of the first antenna 20 is received by the first antenna 20. When the identification code is an preregistered identification one, the first and second human detecting sensors 24 and 26 are switched to an ON (energized) state from an OFF (unenergized) one. When the first human detecting sensor 24 detects the facility user, the sliding door 16 is opened by operating a door driving unit 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
