Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor capable of serviceably and efficiently inspecting and repairing its abnormal place, only by removing a step and a skirt guard panel of the abnormal place specified by its visual observation, for making an inspection by visually observing an inside state of the step and the skirt guard panel, without removing its step and the skirt guard panel. SOLUTION: This passenger conveyor is provided for endlessly circularly moving the step 8, by arranging the skirt guard panel 12 on both sides of its step 8, by endlessly connecting a plurality of steps 8. See-through possible parts 24 and 30 respectively made transparent and opaque by electric control, are arranged on the step 8 and the skirt guard panel 12, and its respective see-through possible parts 24 and 30 are made transparent in a maintenance-inspection, to be visually observed to the inside of the step 8 and the inside of the skirt guard panel 12 from the outside of the passenger conveyor.
