STEEL PLATE BLOCK REVERSING DEVICE AND STEEL PLATE BLOCK REVERSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method capable of safely performing reversing work of a steel plate block even on a day when wind is strong. SOLUTION: This steel plate block reversing device 1 is used when reversing the obverse-reverse surfaces by raising up and laying down the steel plate block, and is constituted of a support stand 3 for supporting the steel plate block in a laying-down state, a stopper 11 arranged on one end side of the support stand 3 and regulating the movement by abutting on one edge part of the steel plate block and a holding base 12 arranged on the stopper 11 side of the support stand 3 and having a holding surface 13 for folding an edge part of the steel plate block, and has a rotary tool 21 installed in one edge part of the steel plate block when reversing the steel plate block and held by a surface of the stopper 11 and the holding surface 13 and an eye bolt 35 movably guided by a guide groove part 33 arranged in both side parts of the support stand 3, connected to the steel plate block via a wire when reversing the steel plate block and preventing rocking of the steel plate block.
