Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately specify a position of a recording element corresponding to a position where the unevenness of density has been detected regardless of an angle of view of an optical system. SOLUTION: A density pattern 74 for detecting the unevenness of the density is formed by putting a plurality of dividing patterns 76 side by side in the arrangement direction of a discharge nozzle. The width of the dividing pattern 76 in the arrangement direction of the discharge nozzle becomes narrower gradually as the pattern reaches the periphery of a reading region. The discharge nozzle corresponding to the position where the unevenness of the density is detected is specified by predetermining the position of the discharge nozzle for recording edges of both ends of the dividing pattern 76.
