Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a designing device of a ladle assembly for continuous casting, capable of sufficiently preventing spouting of molten steel from the joint part of the upper edge of a long nozzle when opening an immersed hole. SOLUTION: The designing device of a ladle assembly for continuous casting includes: a sand pole movement calculating means for calculating the temporal changes in the speed and the position of the sand pole and for further calculating the temporal change in the height of the level of pooled molten steel that is pooled on the sand pole, while setting as an initial state the state in which a quantity of plugging sand to be dropped in use is filled onto the level of the molten steel pool in the space in a nozzle tube of which the lower part length d is immersed in the molten steel pool, making a sand pole an integrated elastic body that performs stress transmission with a pressure coefficient of μwk, and allowing the molten steel to flow in with a volume flow of Qmfrom the upper part of the nozzle; a minimum nozzle-diameter determining means for calculating the height of the level of the pooled molten steel at the time when all of the sand pole is discharged through the lower edge of the nozzle by using the sand pole movement calculating means while changing a tube inner diameter R step-wise, and for determining the minimum inner diameter of the nozzle so that the height of the level is not higher than the height of the upper edge of the nozzle; and a nozzle volume calculating means for calculating a required in-tube volume in the space in the nozzle tube based on the minimum tube inner diameter R of the nozzle.
