DOCUMENT RETRIEVAL DEVICE, DOCUMENT RETRIEVAL METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of data in a document retrieval device, and also reduce the time to reproduce an index when correcting a document.SOLUTION: The document retrieval device includes: a data input unit 1 for input of document data; an index creation unit 2 for creating a transposition index from the document data; a transposition data accumulation unit 3 for storing the transposition index; a search keyword input unit 4 for input of a keyword for a search; a retrieval unit 5 for verifying the input keyword with the transposition index, and detecting any character string matching the keyword; a retrieval result output unit 6 for output of information on the document data including the character string; a data correction input unit 7 for accepting a request to correct the document data; and a data correction reflecting unit 8 for correcting the transposition index based on the request to correct. The transposition index includes index keys and transposition data corresponding to each index key. The transposition data is in the form of a chained pointer list.
