Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of operating an internal combustion engine capable of setting a desirable operation point well.SOLUTION: Steps of detecting the position of operation points (B, B, B, B) of an internal combustion engine (1) includes: a step of shifting an ignition time point (ZZP) for detecting the position of the operation points (B, B, B, B) and for evaluating reaction of the engine (1) speed when the ignition time point (ZZP) id shifted; and a step of changing the fuel supplied amount (x) dependently of the detected operation time points (B, B, B, B) when the detected operation time points (B, B, B, B) are not the desirable operation time points (B, B, B, B).
