Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl ether copolymer, which is excellent in adhesiveness and cohesiveness, and a self-adhesive composition using the vinyl ether copolymer, in particular, a vinyl ether copolymer, which exhibits high safety because of its low skin irritation property, and a medical self-adhesive composition using the vinyl ether copolymer.SOLUTION: The vinyl ether copolymer, which is suitably applicable to a self-adhesive because of its excellent adhesiveness and cohesiveness and low skin irritation property, consists of structural units shown by following formulas (I) and (II): (I) -CHCH[-O-CHCH{CHCH(CHCH)(CHCHCHCH)}]-; (II) -CHCH[(-O-CHCHOH)]-.
