Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas firing superconducting electric propulsion ship satisfactory in energy efficiency of the whole system, and low in the facility cost.SOLUTION: The gas firing superconducting electric propulsion ship includes: a cargo tank 1 (fuel tank) storing LNG 2; a vaporized gas supply line 3 sending vaporized gas 2' generated in the cargo tank 1 to a dual fuel engine 5 (driving engine) of a generator 6 as fuel; a gas heater 4 equipped in the middle of the vaporized gas supply line 3 and raising the temperature of the vaporized gas 2'; a superconducting motor 7 for propulsion driven by electric power generated with the generator 6; a heat pump 15 cooling the superconducting motor 7 to keep the temperature low; and an LNG gasification line 26 sending the LNG 2 from the cargo tank 1 as a cold source for a compression and heat radiation processing at the heat pump 15, and leading the vaporized gas 2' after the processing to the cargo tank 1 and the entrance side of the gas heater 4 on the vaporized gas supply line 3.
