PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper guiding device which prevents head friction of a paper distal end and reducing unevenness of PG upon recording of a second surface even when a warped state is formed on the print paper after recording of a first surface.SOLUTION: The recording medium (paper) guiding device guides the paper so that the second surface faces a recording head 100 by curving and reversing the paper so that the first surface of the paper P on which recording has been carried out is inside. The paper guiding device includes a conveyance time control means which controls the time Tfrom the end of the recording onto the first surface until the paper distal end reaches a first drive roller 28, which conveys the paper P to the recording head 100, and a first driven roller 29 upon recording of the second surface. The conveyance time control means sets the time Tto be shorter if the ink discharge amount in the region that has a length Lfrom the paper rear end upon recording of the first surface is small. Meanwhile, if the ink discharge amount is larger, the time Tis set longer.
