Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve charge transfer efficiency of an image sensor.SOLUTION: When a predetermined charge is applied to each of reading electrodes 321, 322, 323 for transmitting light, the charge stored in a pixel 310 is transferred to CCD elements 331, 332. A voltage VH having a voltage value setting a reading potential be lower than the potential of the bottom of a pixel potential well and higher than the potential of the bottom of a CCD potential well is applied to the reading electrodes 321, 322, and a voltage VL having a voltage value setting the potential higher than the potential of the bottom of the pixel potential well is applied to the reading electrode 323, thereby forming a potential gradient having a potential difference and a short moving distance.
