Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep chromaticity unchanged and constant even if an LED dimming is performed by a peak current control system.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a light-emitting element 3; a light volume detection means 6 to detect the light emitted by the light-emitting element 3; a dimming means 12 to output a dimming signal based on a comparison result of the detected value and a dimming target value, after the detected value which is an output of the light volume from the detection means 6, and a dimming target value which is pre-established in accordance with the dimming rate are input to the dimming means 12; and a controlling part 8 which is provided with a control means 14 to control the light-emitting element 3 by changing a maximum amplitude of a driving current supplied to the light-emitting element 3. The dimming means 12 includes a means for further dimming based on a relation of the maximum amplitude of the driving current supplied to the light-emitting element 3 and a peak wavelength of the light-emitting element 3.
