The CPU 111 carries out a print operation using the subject container. If it is determined that a container change condition has been satisfied, a container having the use order "1" is identified as the subject container again. If it is determined that the container change condition has not been satisfied, and if it is determined that there is a container that has become unavailable among the containers included in the order list 1,133, the CPU 111 deletes the container from the order list 1,133. If it is determined that there is no container that has become unavailable, the CPU 111 determines whether or not there is a container that has become available among the containers not included in the order list 1,133. If it is determined that there is a container that has become available, the CPU 111 adds the container to the order list 1,133.
