PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hair cosmetic excellent in stability of a transparent state with time and imparting good softness to hair.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic at least includes a component (a): a nonionic surfactant, a component (b): a specific cationic surfactant containing a lanolin fatty acid residue, a component (c): a cationic surfactant other than the component (b), a component (d): at least one oily component selected from the group consisting of vegetable oil, wax, hydrocarbon, ester oil, and fatty acid, a component (e): 2-4 hydric alcohol, and component (f): water. When the sum of the amounts of the component (a), the component (b), and the component (c) to be blended is X (mass%) and the amount of the component (d) to be added is Y (mass%), the equation: X:Y=20:1 to 5:1 is held.
