Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a conductive silica sol and a conductive silica hydrogel.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the conductive silica sol is characterized in that a precursor solution containing alkoxy silane or a silicate is mixed with a tin compound to hydrolyze the alkoxy silane or the silicate. The precursor solution may contain alcohol and water adjusted to be acidic in addition to the alkoxy silane or the silicate. The alcohol and the water adjusted to be acidic may be mixed together with the tin compound.
