PAPER DISCHARGER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharger and an image forming apparatus capable of effectively restraining the occurrence of tooth skipping in a divided place in a gear train, even when rotating the divisible gear train in both reciprocal directions with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 50 is configured so as to perform paper conveying processing to a first paper discharge tray 80 and paper conveying processing to a second paper discharge tray 100 by driving force from a single motor 110 rotatable in both reciprocal directions. The image forming apparatus 50 has a movable door 104 configured so as to support the second paper discharge tray 100 and a second gear train 130. Between a gear 132 configuring the second gear train 130 and a paper discharge roller 69, is disposed a one-way clutch 150 configured so as to transmit only driving force to the paper discharge roller 69 in the direction of discharging paper to the second paper discharge tray 100.
