CARGO HANDLING VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost-effective cargo handling vehicle which enables a container to be loaded on and unloaded from a trailer.SOLUTION: The cargo handling vehicle includes: a vehicle body, on which a container is loaded; a carrier device, which is provided with at least an arm device having a lift arm whose base end part is provided rotatably in the longitudinal direction by a lift arm drive means to the vehicle body and a hook arm having a hook that can engage with the container and which is provided in such a way that a hook position can be changed to the lift arm by a hook arm drive means; an operation part, which is provided with a loading/unloading operation means and an auxiliary operation means; and a control device, which drives the carrier device according to the operation of the operation part. In this device, the control device load or unloads the container to the vehicle body when the loading/unloading operation means is operated and drives the hook arm drive means when the auxiliary operation means is operated.
