Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power backup by a discharge control section in a battery pack used as a power source of an electric device.SOLUTION: The battery pack 100 includes: a battery section 112 constituted by connecting in series a plurality of battery cell groups each composed of a plurality of battery cells connected in series, power cutoff element connected between the battery cell groups, a discharge control section 134 which switches the power cutoff element to power-on state when discharging the battery section, and switches the power cutoff element to power-off state when the discharge is stopped, and an energy storage section 133 which is charged by the battery section when the battery section is made conductive since the power cutoff element is power-on state. Here, the discharge control section operates using the battery section when the battery section is made conductive since the power cutoff element is in power-on state, and operates using the energy storage section when the battery section is made non-conductive since the power cutoff element is in power-off state.
