Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain stable and high coupling efficiency over a wide temperature range.SOLUTION: An optical semiconductor device includes a laser diode 14 provided on a stem 12 being a mounting part, a resin lens 20 for condensing exit light from the laser diode 14, and a lens support part 22 fixed on the stem 12 and extending along an optical axis of the laser diode 14 to support the resin lens 20, wherein the lens support part 22 has such a thermal expansion coefficient that a gap between the laser diode 14 and resin lens 20 widens as temperature rises.
