Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elevate sealing strength between a panel and an exhaust pipe while maintaining exhaust efficiency of a discharge space, or elevate exhaust efficiency of the discharge space while maintaining the sealing strength between the panel and the exhaust pipe.SOLUTION: A glass sealing body 10 is softened in a state sandwiched by an outer surface 43 of the rear face panel 40 of flat display, and a tip end face 63 of the exhaust pipe 60 and the exhaust pipe 60 is sealed to the rear face panel 40 so that an exhaust hole 42 formed in the rear face panel 40 and a tube inside part 61 of the exhaust pipe 60 are communicated. The glass sealing body 10 includes a body part 11 and an annular body part 21. The body part 11 is composed of a disc-shaped frit glass, and a through-hole 12 is formed at its center. The annular body part 21 is composed of an annular frit glass, and protruded on one face 13 of the body part 11 from an outer peripheral part of the body part 11. The softening point of the frit glass to constitute the body part 11 is lower than that of the frit glass to constitute the annular body part 21.
