PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that setting work to previously set setting information required to communicate such as an address of an external apparatus to be connected in a communication terminal generally, when the communication terminal such as a newly purchased personal computer etc., is firstly connected with a network is complicated, requires expert knowledge, causes problems to make a setting mistake.SOLUTION: A terminal setting system includes a communication apparatus 110, and a server apparatus 160 holding setting information set for allowing the communication apparatus 110 to communicate with the outside. When the communication apparatus 110 transmits identification information acquired from an IC chip to the server apparatus 160, the server apparatus 160 transmits the setting information associated with the identification information to the communication apparatus 110. The communication apparatus 110 then externally communicates with the outside on the basis of only the setting information.
