PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for expanding the functions of a Web application while maintaining the structure of an existing menu page of the Web application.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 100 stores beforehand in a memory 113 menu definition information defining a menu page representing a hierarchical structure of the functions of a Web application. The image processing apparatus 100, when acquiring expansion page information defining an expansion function of the Web application, sets the expansion page information in a predetermined storage area of the memory 113 according to a setting command and identifies an insertion position to insert an expansion function by the set expansion page information according to the setting command and menu definition information, and when receiving a request to generate a web page representing the hierarchical structure of the Web application, generates an expanded menu page with the expansion function inserted according to the identified insertion position and menu definition information.
