HEAT INSULATING MATERIAL FOR HEADER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating material for a header facilitating confirmation of a connection condition of branch piping irrespective of a connection method of the branch piping to the header.SOLUTION: In the header 11, a plurality of branch ports 13 are formed at a side part of a header body 12 so as to communicate to an inside of the header body 12, joint members 14 are connected to the branch ports 13 respectively, and the branch pipes 15 are connected to the branch ports 13 through the joint members 14. The header 11 is covered by the heat insulating material 61 for the header. A confirmation window 32 for confirming the connection condition of the branch pipe 15 is provided on the joint member 14, and a communication window 93 is formed at a position corresponding to the confirmation window 32 on the heat insulating material 61 for the header. The communication window 93 is always closed. When the connection condition of the branch pipe 15 is confirmed, the communication window 93 is opened and the connection condition of the branch pipe 15 can be confirmed through the communication widow 93 and the confirmation window 32.
