Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogenated polyamic acid composition from which an optical waveguide can be manufactured, having uniform appearance, the reduced number of particles and reduced light transmission loss and polarization-dependent loss, to provide a halogenated polyimide and the film thereof from which an optical waveguide can be manufactured, having uniform appearance and reduced light transmission loss and polarization-dependent loss, to provide the optical waveguide having reduced light transmission loss and polarization-dependent loss and to provide an optical waveguide device.SOLUTION: The halogenated polyamic acid composition contains a halogenated polyamic acid (A) obtained by polymerizing tetracarboxylic acids (a), a diamine compound (b) and a silicon or tetravalent metal compound having primary amino groups and/or the condensate thereof (c) and a silicon or tetravalent metal compound and/or the condensate thereof (B). The halogenated polyimide and the film thereof are obtained from the composition. The optical waveguide and the device thereof using the halogenated polyimide are also provided. |
