Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device which prevents intrusion of water into a plug hole at the time of cleaning of an engine and an intense rainfall, and is not affected by a pressure inside the plug hole. SOLUTION: The plug hole 12 is communicated with a first annular groove 114, a second annular groove 116, a first communication groove 132, and a second communication groove 134 through a slit 31, and this second communication groove 134 can release the pressure inside the plug hole 12 to the outside through an opening part 88 opened toward the lower part, a first chamber 80, a second chamber 82, and an opening part 90 of the socket 18.
