REFORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reforming apparatus which suppresses the upsizing of the apparatus along the vertical direction, and prevents condensed water from detaining in a turning flow pathway to carry out an efficient reaction. SOLUTION: In the reforming apparatus 1 formed with a connecting part 13 for turning a gas flow direction by connecting the lower end part of a RF tower 11 to the lower end part of a PROX tower 12 between the RF tower 11 and the PROX tower 12 which abut each other along the direction of the gas flow, a drain part 42 for discharging a substance in the connecting part 13 is formed at the lowest part of the connecting part 13, and a bottom plane of the connecting part 13 slants toward the drain part 42 from an outflow opening of the RF tower 11 and an inflow opening of the PROX tower 12.
