Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mileage by improving a follow-up property with respect to an operation by a driver in an automatic transmission for a hybrid vehicle. SOLUTION: The automatic transmission 1 includes: a first clutch C1 for freely connecting a first drive gear shaft 4 pivotally supporting drive gears G3a, G5a and an input shaft 2; a second clutch C2 for freely connecting a second drive gear shaft 5 pivotally supporting drive gears G2a, G4a and the input shaft 2; a first meshing mechanism SM1 for freely connecting the drive gears G3a, G5a to the first drive gear shaft 4; a second meshing mechanism SM2 for freely connecting the drive gears G2a, G4a to the second drive gear shaft 5; a brake B1 for freely fixing a third element Ra of a planetary gear mechanism PG to a transmission case 7; and a switching mechanism 8 for freely switching a state with a motor generator MG connected to the first element Sa and a state with a motor generator MG connected to a third element Ra.
