Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope with which a stable field of view can be secured without stopping pulsation, etc., of tissue such as the heart, etc. SOLUTION: The endoscope 1 includes an elongated insertion portion 2 to be inserted into the body of a patient, a fixation means 3 set in at least the tip end portion of the insertion portion 2 to fix the insertion portion 2 into tissue A in the body, an observation optical system 4 set on the insertion portion 2 to acquire an image of the tissue A, and an observation distance adjustment means 5 to adjust a distance between the observation optical system 4 and the surface of the tissue A.
